Leo has led Ladris since its inception, driving corporate strategy and go to market. Prior to founding Ladris, Leo worked as a software & data engineer. He previously won the Berkeley Lipson Prize and was an Ibrahim Fellow. He received his BA from UC Berkeley.
Bowen leads product strategy and AI development at Ladris as Chief Technology Officer. He brings extensive experience in systems integration and deep expertise in applied mathematics and machine learning. Bowen's focus is on delivering solutions that bridge the gap between cutting-edge technology and real-world applications. He received his BA from UC Berkeley.
Igor Zlimen, PhD, serves as Vice President of Engineering for Ladris with over four decades of experience in software engineering and management. His expertise is centered on the design, development, and implementation of database software systems. Notable contributions include EM&V tracking databases and analysis software for both public and investor-owned utilities, speech-enabled Mobile Security Guard application for cell phones, and the development of a Loan Tracking Database System for Broadway Federal Bank. Igor received his B.S. in physics from the University of Zagreb, Croatia in 1984 and a Ph.D. in nuclear physics from the Rugier Boskovic Institute in 1991.
Stefanie Fenton is a seasoned professional with 25 years of experience in the business aspects of software development. As Vice President of Product and Customer Success at Ladris, she brings deep expertise in areas such as Product Management, Business Development, and Account Management. Stefanie is known for her passion in fostering high-performing teams and building successful partnerships within the software development landscape.
Tim Yamauchi has over 30 years of experience in Senior and General Management, with a strong focus on driving growth and innovation. He has served in senior executive roles at a wide range of public and private companies. He currently works as a Principal at Inside The Mountain Consulting, where he excels in creating business partnerships.
Eric Little serves as Outside General Counsel. He previously worked for the SEC & on Wall Street, founded his own legal software firm for which he managed operations and raised capital, and then spent a decade at Wilson Sonsini. He has served as General Counsel & managed Strategic Alliances for various privately held companies.
Bernie Lacroute is a Partner Emeritus at Kleiner Perkins and Chief Wine Drinker at Willakenzie Estate Winery. Bernie served as a General Partner at Kleiner Perkins from 1990-2000; prior to that he was instrumental as EVP & Board Member at Sun Microsystems from 1983 to 1989. Bernie was instrumental in developing the VAX/VMS program and Ethernet in conjunction with Xerox and Intel while at Digital Equipment Corporation from 1969-1983.

Harold Schapelhouman has devoted his life to public service. He traveled to New York to assist in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, was deployed to help after Hurricane Katrina, and assisted in the recovery efforts of the Oklahoma City bombings. With a four decade tenure at the Menlo Park Fire Protection District, he possesses unique insights into the perils of wildfires and their potential devastation to a community. He envisions that in another 40 years, the district will continue to adapt, gaining knowledge, technology, and convenience through automation.
As a fearless advocate for innovation, preparedness, and progress, Steve has been at the helm of the Information and General Services Agency for the County of Nevada, CA, for over 25 years. Steve's other "hat" is serving as the County's Emergency Service Director for 18 years. Here, he champions emergency preparedness and robust infrastructure, earning him accolades such as California’s CIO of the Year, the Visionary Award for IT Leadership from CCISDA, and the RCRC President’s Award for rural technology advocacy. Under his guidance, the County of Nevada has consistently ranked highly in the National Digital Counties Survey, a testament to his expertise in handling emergency events.
Steve brings his extensive experience and awards to the forefront, recognizing the potential of Ladris' AI-driven solutions for evacuation and disaster forecasting. With a strong foundation in Computer Science and Business Administration, Steve's vision aligns seamlessly with Ladris' commitment to community safety. He understands that Ladris’ innovative use of AI to predict and manage disasters represents a groundbreaking advancement in emergency preparedness.
Currently serving as a professor in the Department of Geography at the University of Utah, Tom Cova brings a wealth of experience and expertise in Environmental Hazards, Emergency Management, Geographic Information Science, Transportation, Warning & Evacuation. His impressive list of professional honors and awards includes the Excellence in Mentoring Award from the College of Social & Behavioral Science (CSBS), as well as the Advisor role in Enabling the Next Generation of Hazards Researchers, and the John I. Davidson Award for Practical Papers, among others. His extensive body of journal articles spans decades and covers a wide range of topics, including wildfire evacuation modeling, lane-based evacuation routing, and post-event analysis of wildfire protective action recommendations, to name just a few.
With over 25 years of expertise in natural resources science and management, JoAnne is a trailblazer in innovative fire behavior research on wildland fires. Bridging the gap between research and management, she has paved the way in forest ecology, wildlife conservation, and fire science. As an author and co-author of 30+ technical publications and a captivating speaker with over 50 presentations to diverse audiences, she is committed to driving progress in the field.
With over four decades of expertise in wildland fire management, Carol is a force to be reckoned with. From battling flames as a hotshot crew captain to analyzing fire behavior like no other, she has set new standards in the field. Her unwavering dedication has safeguarded countless communities and inspired a generation of women in firefighting. Her experience is further immortalized in "The Fire Within: A History of Women Wildland Firefighters in the United States," highlighting the contributions of women in wildland firefighting.
Joining the Ladris Evacuation Advisory Board, Carol envisions a future where her fire management expertise converges with Ladris' cutting-edge AI models. Together, they aim to revolutionize disaster forecasting, evacuation planning, and community preparedness, ensuring a safer and more resilient tomorrow.
