Blaine County Selects Ladris to Enhance Disaster Evacuation Preparedness
Hailey, Idaho (July 30, 2024) – Today, Blaine County has announced it has selected Ladris Technologies, Inc. to assist with comprehensive community evacuation planning. Ladris provides a predictive analytics platform that will enable the county and its residents to identify areas of concern, evaluate options to reduce evacuation times, as well as prioritize mitigation projects.
“Ladris will enhance Blaine County’s ability to inform the public about the best evacuation strategies during disasters,” Blaine County Disaster Services Coordinator Chris Corwin said. “It also empowers local residents to explore and pre-plan their evacuation routes and estimate evacuation times.”
Residents can visit the Public Evacuations Pre-Planner page, enter an address, and select an evacuation point to view the optimal route and estimated time needed.
“Due to the unique topography and access issues in our response area, this software will become an essential element for our incident commanders’ toolbox,” Sun Valley Fire Chief Taan Robrahn said. “There is so much to be gained from the ability to make educated evacuation decisions based on real-time data.”
Additionally, local responders and civic leaders can now coordinate across jurisdictions using dynamic data for law enforcement, fire, and EMS officials, enhancing the ability predict and respond to fast-moving incidents with data-driven evacuation times.
“Ladris will also give our community leaders and incident commanders the capability to pull in live traffic feeds and leverage AI for operational decisions," Corwin added.
“We are thrilled to partner with Blaine County to enhance their disaster preparedness and response capabilities,” said Leo Zlimen, CEO of Ladris. “Our platform is designed to provide actionable insights and real-time data, empowering communities to make informed decisions and improve safety outcomes during emergencies."
